Morning Tea
We have another discussion today over morning tea tables about the second of our focusing questions “What are our hopes and dreams for St Paul’s in the City Centre?” You are very welcome to stay and participate or listen in. Next week we will consider “What might we have to let go of, in order to progress in purpose, our hopes and dreams?”
Thought for the Week
In times of great instability and uncertainty, are we ready to believe that God is still working and active? What makes that a difficult prospect to contemplate?
Prayer Pointers
1. We pray for ourselves: Great and good God, remind us of the hope we confess as we face threatening storms both small and large.
2. We pray our concerns about the tides of disruptive change and wider global instability and the impact this will have on the most marginalised and vulnerable.
3. We pray for our companion church, St Andrew’s Hastings, Minister Jill McDonald and its leaders.
